Language Access Philly
Make Your Voice Heard: Use 'I Speak' Cards for Language Support!

I Speak Cards are a simple tool that helps people communicate better and makes sure everyone gets the support they need, no matter what language they speak.
  • By showing an 'I Speak' card, people can let others know which language they prefer.
  • This makes it easier to get interpreters or services in the right language.
  • I Speak Cards are available in 28 languages.

The Office of Immigrant Affairs (OIA) can provide printed versions of these cards.
  • Please contact OIA at OIA@phila.gov to request language access cards.

A Reminder about Respiratory Viruses
Flu, COVID-19, and RSV are common respiratory viruses.
  • All three can cause severe illness, especially in young children, older adults, and people with certain health conditions or disabilities.
  • The best protection against severe illness is immunization.

In Philly, respiratory virus season usually runs from October through April, with cases often peaking between December and February.
  • The best time to get vaccinated is in the fall, but it's never too late.
