我们做什么

费城公园和娱乐局在全市范围内经营六个老年人中心。 这些中心帮助老年居民在家中和社区中拥有充实和独立的生活。对于 55 岁及以上的成年人，我们提供：

  • 健康餐食。

  • 娱乐和教育项目。

  • 保健活动。

  • 交通。

  • 社会福利服务。


该计划还向老年低收入居民提供农贸市场食品券。

老年人活动



体操和保健计划
有氧运动、太极拳、瑜伽、力量训练、步行小组、椅上运动、营养课、糖尿病教育讲习班、运动器材、受伤和跌倒预防计划、健康筛检、讲座和每年的长者活动和健康展。


终身学习
西班牙语会话班、英语班、社区学习中心 ESL 班、计算机班、创意写作小组和读书俱乐部。


社会服务
信息和转介、个人和团体咨询以及资源咨询。


志愿者机会
志愿者机会有机会回馈自己的中心和社区。


艺术项目
水彩、丙烯酸、粘土和陶瓷、艺术鉴赏课程和博物馆之旅。


高级艺术营
两个为期一周的课程，包括绘画、水彩、中国水彩和素描。

娱乐和文化项目
一日游、戏剧、舞蹈课、生日和节日庆祝活动、音乐课和合唱团。

费城老年运动会
奥林匹克式的活动、包括高尔夫、保龄球、田径、篮球、垒球、游泳、拼字游戏等。




宾州东南地区交通局 (SEPTA) ADA Paratransit 服务为符合条件的人提供前往中心的交通。 这项服务由费城老龄化公司的有限资金支持。 前往当地目的地的面包车使用该单位的面包车。

This site on Bustleton Avenue offers many opportunities for seniors 55 and over. Enjoy a hot or cold lunch in the cafeteria. Relax with friends in the lounge area. Participate in a fitness class. The center also features a computer room, pool table, art room, and classrooms for informational and educational workshops. Social workers link members with community resources and supportive counseling.

Northeast Philadelphia Chinese Association (NEPCA) is a grassroots community-based non-profit organization under fiscal sponsorship of Culture Trust of Greater Philadelphia, a 501(c)(3) organization.
