30 NEPCA Volunteers Support SWAG’s Local Block Party Outreach Event

Date: Saturday, July 26, 2025 | Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: 7137 Hegerman St., Philadelphia, PA 19135

Thirty NEPCA volunteers participated in a vibrant local block party outreach event organized by Star of Hope Baptist Church. Volunteers assisted with:

  • Event setup and cleanup

  • Tabling and guest check-in

  • Chinese-English interpretation and form assistance

  • Food and clothing distribution

  • Face painting and children’s games

Following the event, NEPCA presented our Fiscal Year 2025 Volunteer Service Awards to both volunteers and their families.

We were honored to have 5th District State Senator Joe Picozzi join us to present the awards and share his inspiring journey in public service with NEPCA’s teen volunteers.
