”Her Leadership, Our Future” Panel Discussion Webinar. During the 70th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, this online parallel event focuses on how Asian women are breaking career stereotypes and expanding their roles in professional fields, public service, and community leadership. Through dialogue and experience sharing, the event aims to encourage more Asian women to participate in public affairs, enhance their leadership in social development and service, and jointly promote the building of a more inclusive and equitable society. Northeast Philadelphia Chinese Association (NEPCA) Partners with The Welcoming Center to Launch "Breaking Bread, Breaking Barriers" Ahead of 2026 Semiquincentennial PHILADELPHIA, PA – As Philadelphia prepares for the 2026 Semiquincentennial, the Northeast Philadelphia Chinese Association (NEPCA) and The Welcoming Center have officially launched a collaborative initiative to foster unity in one of the city’s most diverse regions. Using the "Breaking Bread, Breaking Barriers" (4B) model, the program brings together native-born and foreign-born residents to build community through shared meals and cross-cultural dialogue.
